THE CHALLENGE
Upgrading critical electrical rooms, air handling equipment, and fire protection tie-ins while the medical center remained fully operational. Work had to be phased around patient care areas, infection-control requirements, and limited overnight shutdown windows.
OUR APPROACH
Northgrid coordinated closely with facility operations, created temporary utility plans for each phase, and sequenced trade work by department. Crews completed off-hour cutovers, pre-tested assemblies, and maintained clean containment zones throughout occupied areas.
RESULTS
The project was completed without unplanned service interruptions. Final inspections passed on schedule, and the owner received closeout documentation organized by system, phase, and maintenance priority.
