THE CHALLENGE
Coordinating MV distribution, a central chilled-water plant, and a first-of-kind direct-to-chip cooling loop on a 9-month fast-track schedule with 35+ craft and three open structures proceeding in parallel.
OUR APPROACH
Northgrid embedded its preconstruction team at design development, stood up a full BIM coordination model before permit, and pre-fabricated major electrical skids and pipe racks off-site to eliminate field interference on the critical path.
RESULTS
The campus commissioned on schedule. IST documentation was delivered three days before the contract milestone, and the owner accepted turnover without any punch-list delay items from Northgrid scopes.
