When Vantedge Data Centers awarded Phase II of their Phoenix hyperscale campus, the schedule was the first thing everyone talked about. Nine months to model, coordinate, fabricate, and install MV distribution, central plant, and a direct-to-chip cooling loop for 65 megawatts of compute — a fast-track build by any measure.

Our approach was ruthless prioritization. We brought Northgrid’s preconstruction team in at design development, standing up the BIM coordination model eight weeks before permit. Prefabricated electrical skids and pipe racks were assembled at our Dallas fabrication facility in parallel with site work, arriving ready to bolt in. At peak we had 35 craft on site across four trades, all self-performed, all on one schedule.

The project commissioned on time. Final IST documentation was delivered to the owner three days before the contract milestone. That’s the product of a self-perform model that doesn’t outsource accountability.
